DESCRIPTION:As we step into January 2026 we are coming together as a Canadian Vineyard Family to engage in a rhythm of corporate fasting and prayer. This year as we head into a season of transition with our National Team\, our prayer focus will be influenced and shaped by some of the significant upcoming shifts that will impact the way we operate into the future as a family. \nIt seemed prudent to carry forward last year’s theme – “A People of the Way” into the ‘26 calendar – “A People of the Way – the Journey Continues.” \nA few overarching threads from 2025 that we sense the Lord highlighting for us to stay attentive to in 2026; \n\n\nWalk don’t run – the Lord’s timing & pacing is perfect we are to lean into trust \n\n\nGod’s ways are not ours – Isaiah 55:8-9 need to be led by the Spirit’s wisdom and understanding \n\n\nStaying rooted John 15 & attentive to our roots  Psalm 1-  our values drive our posture – & we are called to be a people of the Way of Jesus \n\n\nDesire fruit that remains\, the invitation to remain faithful to the main and the plain of journeying with Jesus \n\n\nThe reminder that warfare is real & we struggle not against flesh & blood – (Ephesians 6:12) We are called to lean into Godly wisdom\, character\, discernment & humility to avoid the enemies’ schemes. \n\n\nDavid Ruis’ January reflection drawn from Acts 13:1-3 helps to clarify the posture we are leaning into throughout this time of fasting & prayer. \n“Now in the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas\, Simeon called Niger\, Lucius of Cyrene\, Manaen (who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch) and Saul. DESCRIPTION:Calgary Alberta July 20-23\, 2022 “Just Jesus” We are so excited to be gathering together again this summer. \nThe Celebration will begin the evening of July 20th and end at 12pm on Saturday July 23rd. There will be morning\, afternoon and evening sessions on the Thursday and Friday. \nEvery four years our Canadian Vineyard Family comes together to celebrate the life we share as followers of Jesus and His way. This July we will be gathering in Calgary Alberta. As we look over the years since our last National Celebration\, we are keenly aware that Jesus the Master gardener has been at work in this Canadian Vineyard garden. We’ll have times of worship\, corporate led prayer\, and an opportunity to connect using breakout rooms. Join us for the adventure!\n\n\n\nWe are very excited to host the Vineyard Prayer Summit for our 19th year!  This year we will be hosting the Prayer Summit online via Zoom.  More people from across Vineyard Canada will now have the ability to gather together and participate in this time of corporate prayer and worship. \nAt the heart of the Prayer Summit is a desire to respond to the invitation of the Lord\, to enter into His presence\, and to be with Him. We desire to cultivate a deep life with Him\, to listen and to respond together to the further invitations of His leading. \nThis year\, each of our 4 sessions will be led by prayer and worship teams from different regions across the nation allowing us an increased experience of corporately seeking and responding to the Lord.  We will also be harnessing the advantages of technology\, using Zoom breakout rooms to facilitate interactive times of Spirit-led prayer with one another. \nWe invite you to join us as we set aside this sacred space to gather together to devote ourselves to prayer\, worship\, seeking the Lord and responding to his leading. \n\n\nColossians 4:2\n“Devote yourselves to prayer\, keeping alert in it with thanksgiving.”
