The gathering closest to us will be hosted at Chilliwack Vineyard on October 3rd and 4th. Various National Team members will be helping facilitate these gatherings. \nOur time together will be anchored to a Friday evening session of worship and thematic and practical connection. DESCRIPTION:“Becoming a People of Hope\, Healing and Hospitality.” \nRegional In-Person Gathering.\nOct 4 – 5th\, Chilliwack. BC. \nVineyard Canada will be hosting 5 gatherings across the country this fall\, in cooperation with Regional Teams. The gathering closest to us will be hosted at Chilliwack Vineyard on October 4th and 5th. Various National Team members will be helping facilitate these gatherings\, along with our Foundations Team ( David\, Anita\, Tina-Marie and Joyce) \nOur time together will be anchored to a Friday evening session of worship and reflection around our ’24 theme of becoming a people of Hope\, Healing and Hospitality. \nOn the Saturday community sessions we want to curate a space that brings you up to speed and engaged with where we are at in our national journey right now. Various topics that we will be looking at will include: \n1. Navigating the Dynamics of Change and Pivots in the Faith Community\n2. Building a Listening Team and Developing a Discerning Community. Becoming a Prophetic People.\n3. Updates and dialogue on next steps for Vineyard Canada \nMore than anything\, we want to be facilitating ways to connect and communicate with our Canadian family in this season. The posture of these times together will be informed by our desire for connection and care rather than a seminar or conference feel. Something else\, which has emerged out of this space\, is our Vineyard Canada Zoom Devo’s. These times are proving to be just as life-giving and vibrant as people gather from across the country to be together. \nThe Devo’s are a Zoom space that runs over 3 concurrent days for 45 minutes each morning. Anchored to a theme and focus that we are engaging with nationally\, we open a virtual space that curates a combination of liturgy\, art\, music reflection and prayer. These times have been precious for many and the feedback has been super encouraging. Currently\, we are exploring together what it means to be a “missional people” and what we need to do to restore this to the very core of our identity. In this recalibrating work\, we see being a people of hope\, a people of healing and a people of hospitality as central to who we want to be. \nIn the spring\, our Devo was shaped around the theme of being a people of hope. This coming fall we’ll be looking at what it means to be a people of Healing & Hospitality.\nJoin us!
