Moly Rose Sorge\, Feb 1\, 1931 to Apr 11\, 2025.\n\nDate: Saturday May 17 \, 2025\nTime: 1 pm\nLocation: Kamloops First Baptist Church\, 454 Columbia St\, Kamloops BC.\n\nRefreshments will follow.\n\nDignity Memorial Obituary link\, click here.\n\n__\n\n\n\n\n\nIt is with great sadness that the family of Molly Rose Sorge (nee Harris) announce her passing. Molly was born on February 1\, 1931 in Kitwanga\, BC and passed away peacefully on Friday\, April 11\, 2025 in Kamloops\, BC\, while surrounded by her family. Molly was predeceased by her husband of 67 years\, Ed Sr.\, her parents Irene and Robert Harris\, her siblings Mazel\, Ken and Lily\, and her grandson Eddie Wishloff. \nMolly\, who was dearly loved by her family\, will be missed by her children Margaret\, Linda\, Ed Jr.\, Anita and Tony\, her fourteen grandchildren\, twenty great-grandchildren\, and one great-great-granddaughter. \nMolly lived a long\, full life with her husband Ed\, whom she loved dearly. Their five children were born in Prince Rupert\, BC and raised in Castlegar\, BC after the family moved in 1960. \nThe family had many vacations through the years and\, once the children left home\, Molly and Ed lived overseas in Iran\, Turkey and Nigeria\, where they enjoyed diverse cultures and experiences and made many wonderful friendships and memories. \nLater in life\, Molly and Ed enjoyed living in beautiful Northern British Columbia in Granisle. They also traveled extensively throughout Europe\, Canada and the USA\, as well as to Mexico\, Hawaii and the Panama Canal. \nThe family would like to thank the staff at Ridgeview Lodge for the excellent care they provided to Molly and the support they provided to the family through the final stages of Molly’s life.
